TDO had the honour of performing at the UTWA Championship 2025, the world's first international Thai massage competition. This wasn't just any event; it was a historic gathering that brought together the most skilled Thai massage practitioners from around the globe to compete on the world stage.

The UTWA Championship 2025, organized by the Universal Thai Wellness Association, took place at a unique venue—an ice skating rink at West Edmonton Mall. Professionals from around the globe showcased their incredible skills as they competed in seven different categories for the prestigious title of World Champion. The competition featured categories ranging from Traditional Thai Massage to Sport Massage, Eastern and Western styles, and even DIY Self Massage.

A Proud Moment for TDO

The championship kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony featuring a parade of competitors from countries worldwide. TDO joined the procession with our traditional Thai dance, adding vibrant colour and cultural authenticity to the ceremony. Seeing massage practitioners from every corner of the world march alongside our dancers was a powerful moment that celebrated the global reach of Thai wellness traditions.

Being invited to perform at the UTWA Championship 2025 is one of our proudest achievements, as it was recognition of TDO's role in representing Thai culture at major international events. To be entrusted with bringing traditional Thai dance to such a prestigious, high-profile gathering dedicated to Thai wellness meant the world to us.
